Day 11
Do you know why you should wear sunscreen all year round?
- UVA rays are present, at the same strength, morning to night, all year round
- UVA rays penetrate cloud cover, glass and windows
- UVA is ageing; you can’t feel it, but it penetrates deeper into your skin layers causing damage to your structural collagen
- UVA & UVB damage and lead to lines, wrinkles, thickened texture and hyperpigmentation. They can also lead to skin cancer.
- You should wear a sunscreen of at least SPF 30 to protect your skin daily
